Gilbert Urban, 55, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Thursday, November 2nd, peacefully at his residence.

Gilbert was born in Rocky Ford, CO on February 20, 1962, a son of Virginia (Chaparro) Urban and the late Marcos Portano Urban.

He was the husband of Tracy Jo (Mondragon) Mondragon, she survives.

He attended the St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO.

He is survived by His mother Virginia of the home;

Wife Tracy Mondragon;

Son Gilbert Urban, Jr., of Hammond, LA;

Daughter Jennie Marie Urban, of Killeen, TX;

Son Marcos Joseph, husband of Hannah Urban, of Hammond, LA;

Brother Steven, husband of Francisca Urban, of French Camp, CA;

Step-Daughter April Torrez, of Colorado Springs, CO;

Step Son Brian Torrez, of Colorado Springs, CO;

Step Son Henry Torrez, of Pueblo, CO;

Step Son Christopher Torrez, of Pueblo, CO;

Step Son James Torrez, of Crowley, CO.

He is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Aubrianna, Landen, Londen, Aavriella, Prisceyiss, Gilbert III, Presley, Erica and Brian Jr., God-Daughter, Mercedes Barrows.

Gilbert was preceded in death by his father Marcos Urban, Sr. and brother: Marcos Joseph Urban.

Public Viewing will be held 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 5th at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home in Rocky Ford, CO.
