Gregory Santistevan, age 61, died peacefully at Crowley County Nursing Center, in Ordway, Colorado, on January 19, 2024. He was the third eldest son of Albert and Louise Santistevan of Ordway. In 1974, the family moved to Rocky Ford, living on 7th Street for seven years. In 1981, they moved to their present location on 4th Street. Greg attended school in Rocky Ford until he joined the Colorado National Guard in January 1981. Two older brothers, Maury and Carlos, also joined the National Guard. Greg lived 40 years in Rocky Ford.

He is preceded in death by his mother and one brother. He is survived by his father Albert Santistevan of Rocky Ford, sister Avalina Wygle of Pueblo; brother Randy Santistevan of Pueblo; sister Chris Noel (Jim) of Boulder; sister Sally Baca (Samuel) of Rocky Ford; sister Laural Cordova of Pueblo; brother Carlos Santistevan of Rocky Ford; brother Maury Santistevan (Catherine) of Rocky Ford; brother Jonathan Santistevan of Ft. Morgan; and brother Tracy Santistevan (Joanna) of Craig.

A private family service will follow at a later date.
