Harold E. Johnson

Mr. Harold Elton Johnson, 70, of Rocky Ford died on Sunday, March 7th, 2010 peacefully at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center, La Junta, CO. Harold was born in Wheatridge, CO on April 9, 1939, the son of the late Emery Lloyd and Faye Agnus (Dale) Johnson. He attended the Wheatridge school system until he joined the Air Force. He was the husband of Diana Lee (Zogg) Johnson. They were married on May 3, 1964 in Southernland, NE. She survives of the home. He worked as a Carpenter. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford. He was a past member of the ELKS Lodge #1147 in Rocky Ford. A lifetime member of the American Quarter Horse Association. He is survived by his wife, Diana of the home; Daughter Debra Johnson of San Diego, CA; Daughter Trisha of Olney Springs, CO; Daughter Shelly Ulrich of Lamar, CO; Daughter Julie Daughter Rhonda Son Weston Son Larry Brother Robert Johnson of Manzanola, CO; Brother Jeri Johnson of Texas. He is also survived by Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son: Edward Lloyd Johnson in 1982; a sister: Doris Agnus Richter; a brother: Edward Lloyd Johnson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peters Catholic Church, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 12th, with Fr. Don Malin officiating. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. A Rosary Service will be recited at 9:30 AM Friday at St. Peters Catholic Church.
