Hildred "Hap" Ray Kuhn

Mr. Hildred Ray (Hap) Kuhn, 77, of Rocky Ford died Saturday, March 9th, 2013 peacefully at Arkansas Valley Regional Nursing Center - West, LaJunta, CO. Hildred was born in La Junta, CO on May 11, 1935, the son of the late Ralph and Leola Ruth (Bland) Kuhn. He graduated from the Armed Forces High School. He was the husband of Goldie Mae (Weaver) Kuhn, they were married on Sept. 21, 1957 in Raton, NM. She survives. He served in the U.S. Army. Hap was a Truck Driver and retired from Frontier Rock & Sand & VECO. He is survived by his wife, Goldie of the home; Daughter Pamela Kuhn-Maxie wife of George of Colorado Springs, CO; Son Kelly Kuhn of Rocky Ford, CO; Brother R.G. husband of Patricia Kuhn of Valpraiso, FL; Grandson Joshua Kuhn of Rocky Ford, CO; Granddaughter Sara Denton of La Junta, CO. Grandson Damien Kuhn He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren: Patrick, Trinity, Caden, Raylene, Zorene. Hap was preceded in death by his parents; daughter: Cheryl Kuhn; 2 brothers: Ralph Lee and Kenneth Kuhn. Funeral Services will be at the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home, Rocky Ford, CO, at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 14th, with Pastor John Dell officiating. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Inurnment will be private at a later time. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home.
