James Mike Espinoza, 56, of Pueblo, CO, passed away Tuesday, July 28th, at Parkview Medical Center, Pueblo, CO.

James was born in La Jara, CO on March 24, 1964, a son of Margie (Silva) Espinoza and the late John Frank Espinoza.

He graduated from Manzanola High School in 1983.

He was the husband of Nancy (Trujillo) Espinoza, they were married on June 12, 1982 in Rocky Ford.

Mike loved spending time with his family whether it was taking them fishing or having family day at work cleaning floors the "right way". He always was with the love of his life Nancy. Always took her to work & spent every break & lunch together or just enjoying a long drive. His grandkids were his entire world. He would spend his mornings watching cartoons with Michael Jr. or facetiming with Eliana. His oldest son Michael remembers learning how to work on cars together & all the fishing trips. His daughter in law Shauna remembers him showing up everyday for lunch to give Jr. a happy meal just so he could see them every day & complaining that the smell of her coffee was enough to wake the dead. His son Rocky remembers him showing up at random & just walking right in. Michelle his daughter in law remembers being tricked into family day & was taught how to clean tables. His daughter Monica favorite memories include watching Powerblock & All Girls Garage on Saturdays. His son in law Dustin knew he could always call & get help with fixing things around the house. All the kids learned how to shoot guns, wax the floors correctly, stucco & so much more. He loved watching cowboys every day. He always called his mom & siblings everyday no matter how he was feeling. Mike was a friend to everyone & always willing to help anyone in need. You could call him anytime day or night & he would be there. He enjoyed listening to all kinds of music. He loved animals of all sorts. Bucky his cat & Pugsley his dog misses him snuggling & playing with them every day. Mike liked to play games whether he was prank calling his family or playing checkers & tic tac toe. He will be greatly missed by all who loved & knew him.

He is survived by: Wife Nancy of the home; Mother Margie of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Mike, husband of Shauna Espinoza, of Pueblo, CO; Son Rocky, husband of Michelle Espinoza, of Pueblo, CO; Daughter Monica, wife of Dustin Becker, of La Junta, CO; Sister Jane Muniz, of Commerce City, CO; Sister Della, wife of Jake Marmolejo, of Pueblo, CO; Sister Georgann, wife of Tommy Baca, of Aurora, CO; Brother Frank Espinoza, of Rocky Ford, CO; Brother Jesse Espinoza, of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Jessica, wife of Brad Clevenger, of Hazel, KY; Grandson Michael Espinoza, Jr., of Pueblo, CO; Granddaughter Eliana Becker, of La Junta, CO;

He was preceded in death by his father: John in 2007; sister: DeeDee Munoz; nephew: Raul Munoz

Viewing will be held 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 4th at Ford - Ustick Funeral Home in Rocky Ford, CO. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, August 5th at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home in Rocky Ford, CO with Brad Pettie officiating .Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Rocky Ford, CO.
