James "Jim" Frentress

Mr. James Ronald (Jim) Frentress, 58, of Rocky Ford died Tuesday, June 28th, 2011 at his residence. Jim was born in Rocky Ford, CO on July 29, 1952, the son of the late Leo Charles and Helen (Head) Hatch. He graduated with an Associates in Oceanic Aviation from Brazosport College in Lake Jackson, TX. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. In his earlier years he worked in Oceanic Aviation in Houston. He had worked for Colorado Work Force in Rocky Ford and Pueblo for many years. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Rocky Ford. He is survived by: Daughter Tami Morgan of Loveland, CO; Daughter Sierra Frentress of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Senon Frentress of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Eric Frentress of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Connie wife of Carey Suto of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Vickie wife of Tom Trumble of La Junta, CO; Sister Bonnie Lamm of Colorado Springs, CO; Grandson Caleb Morgan of Loveland, CO; Grandson Corbit Morgan of Loveland, CO; Many Nieces and Nephews. A Memorial Service will be at the First Christian Church, Rocky Ford, CO, at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 6th, with Pastor John Dell officiating. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Inurnment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church 400 S. 9th Rocky Ford, CO 81067. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home.
