Jarod Rivas passed away on November 6, 2018 at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was the son of Rose Mary Rivas and Glenn Vernon Encinias. Jarod was born on September 09, 1998 in Amarillo, Tx. He is survived by his Mother Rose M. Rivas, Step Father Cosme John Gallegos III of La Junta, CO, Father Glenn (Laura) Encinias of Hooker, OK, and Siblings Naomi Rivas (Sister), Sophia Rivas (Neice) of La Junta, Jaydon Rivas-Gallegos (Brother) of La Junta, Alex & Issac Encinias (Brothers) of Pueblo, CO, Grandparents; Ruben SR. and Oralia Rivas of La Junta, CO, Juan and Maria Reyes of Amarillo, Tx. Great-Great GrandMother; Eva Castillo Rivas of La Junta, CO. Uncles & Aunts; Ruben Jr. (Joyce) Rivas of Las Animas CO, Frances (Fabian Gomez) Rivas of Bladen NE, Roberto (Tina) Rivas of Cheyenne Wyoming, David and Ethan Rivas of Scottsbluff NE, Linda (Guillermo) Rivas-Martinez of Brownwood Tx, Valerie Montoya (Juan) of Plainview Tx, Juanita Bitela (Jesse) of San Antonio Tx , Juan Reyes Jr, of Seagoville Tx, Bernice Ortiz (Joe), Sonia Apodaca (Steve) Maria Gonzales (Pete), Eluteria Reyes, Rogelio Reyes, Norma Armendariz (Robert) all of Amarillo Tx; Numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. He got a High school graduate / GED completed from Otero Junior College, BUENO HEP. Outside of work and other activities, Jarod enjoyed spending time reading, movies, tv, fishing, sports, music, volunteering, skateboarding and playing video games.. He was preceded in death by his Daughter Jayleianna Rivas-Trujillo, Nick Martinez (Grandfather), Great-Grandmother Angelica Martinez; Andrea & Manuel De LA Fuente Rivas Gallegos (Great Great Grandparents), Arnulfo Rivas (Great Great Grandfather), Conrad & Carlos Rivas (Great Uncles). Arrangements are being handled by Ford - Ustick Funeral Home located at 305 N. 8th Street Rocky Ford, CO.
