Jason Mark Espinoza passed away on March 20, 2023 at his home in Rocky Ford at the age of 35. He was born in La Junta, on February 19th, 1988 to Dennis Espinoza and Susan DeHerrera. From a young age, he was a very caring and generous person and wouldn't hesitate to help anyone in need. He was an avid Raiders fan and music lover who played guitar for a rock band in his younger years with some of his best buddies. Music was a big part of Jason's life, whether he was playing it or listening to it; he loved going to concerts and rocking out! Collecting guitars and starting unique projects like making cheese, brewing beer, making kombucha, and culturing yogurt were among his many interests. He was also into health and fitness and wouldn't hesitate to share healthy recipes or workout routines; he loved his sauna after a good workout! Jason had a great personality and came up with the most clever and funny things to say. He was a passionate, and charismatic person who touched the lives of all who knew him. He loved his cats, Willie and Blue, and his guitar, an Ibanez Artcore named "Evelyn".

Jason is survived by his parents: Dennis Espinoza and Susan DeHerrera; 3 siblings: Sam Espinoza, Yzabella Apodaca-Espinoza, and Nevaeh Horton; grandfather: Delfino Espinoza, all of Rocky Ford; nephew: Enzo Sierra, niece: Evelynn Sierra, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Amy Espinoza; grandparents: Frances & Toby DeHerrera, and Bernice Espinoza; uncles: Patrick Espinoza and Toby DeHerrera.
