Mr. Jerry Frank George Guzman, 72, of Rocky Ford died Thursday, September 8th, 2011 peacefully at Parkview Medical Center, Pueblo, CO. Jerry was born in Rocky Ford, CO on May 5, 1939, the son of the late George Miranda and Opal Apodaca (A.) Guzman. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO. He is survived by: Brother Leonard husband of Sara Guzman of Phoenix, AZ; Numerous Nieces & Nephews He was preceded in death by: 4 sisters: Alice Perez, Martha Sigala, Sarah Arellano, Mary Louise Lopez; Brother: Ted Guzman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Peters Catholic Church, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 14th, with Fr. Paul Ekeh officiating. A visitation will be on Tuesday 1-5 PM at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home. A Rosary Service will be recited at 9:30 AM Wednesday at St. Peters Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Rocky Ford, CO. Casket Bearers: Bill Jackson, Tom Perez, Larry Perez, Lenny Guzman, Pete Thompson, Eddie Perez.
