Joaquin Miguel Robles Granados, 65, of Rocky Ford, died unexpectedly on Nov. 2, 2023, in his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born Aug. 16, 1958 to Esteban and Angela Robles in Valle de Allende, Chihuahua, Mexico. Joaquin was a loving, caring person, always there to lend a helping hand— very outgoing, starting conversations, telling stories, and always joking around with everyone. He loved to spend time with his family and play with his grandchildren. He loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, and just sitting by the campfire, laughing and sharing stories with his family. He was a hardworking man who did anything to provide for his family, even to the very last day of his life.

Joaquin is survived by his wife, Lorraine, and his daughters, Christina (Richard) Diaz of Amarillo, Texas. Michelle and Veronica Robles are both of Rocky Ford. Son, David Robles of La Junta. His grandchildren are Jaelyn, Lyjah, and Makaeus Robles, all of Rocky Ford, whom he raised as his own, and Sophia Gonzales of La Junta. Also, numerous brothers and sisters in Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents, Esteban and Angela Robles, and his two brothers, Elpidio and Hipolito Robles.
