John "Jack" H. Campbell

Jack was born in Agate, CO on May 27, 1933, the son of the late John Henry, Sr. and Elsie (Passig) Campbell.

He graduated from Ordway High School in Ordway, CO.

He was the husband of Carolyn Campbell. They were married on July 10, 1958 in Ordway, CO. She survives.

He served in the Colorado National Guard.

He retired as an Electrician at Matthews Electric in Rocky Ford, CO.

He was a long time member of the ELKS Lodge 1147 in Rocky Ford, CO. In his earlier years he enjoyed hunting, fishing, was in a bowling league, and was a member of a traveling pool (billiards) league in the Arkansas Valley. In his later years he enjoyed scratching lottery tickets and an occasional trip to Cripple Creek.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn of the home; Daughter Cheryl wife of Greg Hutton of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Kevin Campbell of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Pam wife of Bob Konz of Calhan, CO; Son Mark Campbell of Sugar City, CO; Sister Janet wife of Joe Corum of Canon City, CO; Brother Kenneth Campbell of Ordway, CO; Grandson Matt husband of Lisa Campbell of Fowler, CO; Grandson Donovan Campbell of Pueblo, CO; Granddaughter Erica Hutton of Nashville, TN; Grandson Derek Hutton of Rocky Ford, CO; Grandson Bradley Epps of Calhan, CO; Grandson Christopher Epps of Calhan, CO; Granddaughter Mallory Konz of Colorado Springs, CO; Granddaughter Kayla Konz of Colorado Springs, CO; Granddaughter Samantha Konz of Colorado Springs, CO. He is also survived by Great-Grandchildren: Kaitlyn Campbell, Jake Campbell, Chloe Campbell, Connor Campbell, Logan Lefors

He was preceded in death by a son: Jeffery Campbell

Memorial Services will be at the First United Methodist Church, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, July 26th, with Pastor Virgil Ortega officiating. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Inurnment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Valley Hospice 118 W. 4th La Junta, CO 81050.
