John Jaure, 80, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Monday, February 24th, 2020 at his residence.

John was born in Rocky Ford, CO on February 8, 1940, a son of the late Mary (Baca) and Demetrio Jaure.

He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO.

He served in the U.S. Navy as an E-5 in the Vietnam War.

He retired as a Claims Rep at Social Security Administration La Junta, CO 81050., for 40 years He retired in 2006.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion.

He is survived by a son Michael Jaure of Vail, CO; Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Graveside service will be Friday, February 28, 2020 in the Valley View Cemetery, Rocky Ford, CO with Fr. Paul Ekeh officiating. Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery, Rocky Ford, CO.
