John F. Miller passed away at his home peacefully on Friday August 30th at 7:00pm. He was surrounded by his immediate family members. John has been a member of Rocky Ford since 1960. He retired from the Rocky Ford, R2 school district with 20 plus years, and he was also a movie projectionist at, "The GRAND theater" for numerous years. John was born in Rush, Co. on August 6th, 1938 to Otho and Flossie Miller. At the very young age of 1 year the family moved to Dallas, Oregon. In 1950 the Miller family moved back to Colorado to a rural area of Olney Springs.

John was married to Francie Lamb on April 8th, 1960. Together they had 2 sons, 5 grandkids and 3 great grandkids. John is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Francie, his granddaughter Shelby and daughter-in-law Gina. Surviving family members are two sons, Jerald and Jim Miller and sister Ellen Reeves. Jerald R. and Darlene Miller, Jeralds kids Shelby, Kendra and Levi Miller and one great grandson Josiah Miller. Two stepsons and family. Jim R. and Gina Miller, Jim's daughter Jennifer and spouse Matt Harmon, grandchildren Mathias and Lovella Harmon. Three step-grandsons and family. Ellen and David Reeves, their sons and family. Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
