John H. Paugh, 61, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Wednesday, July 30th, peacefully, at Sangre De Cristo Hospice House, Pueblo, CO. John was born in La Junta, CO on August 27, 1952, a son of the late Maxine Mardell (Highland) and Howard James Paugh. He graduated from Rocky Ford High School. He worked as a Dietician at Ft. Lyon National Cemetery John loved the Broncos and old movies. He is survived by; Sister Elaine Paugh, of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Linda, wife of Norman Smith, of Stuarts Draft, VA; Niece Leslie Smith, of Virginia Beach, VA; Nephew Craig Smith, of Stuarts Draft, VA. He is also survived by John is also survived by 2 great-nephews, 1 great-niece, many aunts, uncles, cousins and his special angel Jo Stanlick. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside Services will be at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 5th, with Pastor John Dell officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 1-5 PM at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO.
