Joseph "Joe" Olmedo

Mr. Joseph Henry (Joe) Olmedo, 56, formerly of Rocky Ford died Friday, April 26th, 2013 in Denver, CO. Joseph was born in Canon City, CO on March 1, 1957, the son of the late Henry and Josephine (Estrada) Olmedo. He graduated from Rocky Ford High School. He served in the U.S. Army. Joe was a member of the Nazarene Church in Rocky Ford, CO and a member of the Boy Scouts of America and the Koshare's. He loved camping, hunting, hiking and motorcycle riding. He is survived by: Sister Becky Bustillo; Sister Barbara Olmedo wife of Doug Steinkruger; Brother Dennis husband of Patty Olmedo; Sister Elizabeth Anderson; and numerous Nieces and Nephews. Joe was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, David Bustillo. Services will be private, at his request. There will be no viewing and inurnment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home.
