Josephine Louise Adams, 95, of Sugar City, CO, passed away Monday, January 13th, at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center, La Junta.

Josephine was born in Denver, CO on July 5, 1924, a daughter of the late Mildred Louise (Kern) and Joseph Meyers.

She was the wife of Willard James Adams, Jr., they were married on Sept. 28, 1949 in Littleton, CO, they celebrated over 70 years together.

She attended the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sugar City, CO.

She worked as a C.N.A. at Valley View Hospital in Thornton, CO, Denver General Hospital and the National Jewish Hospital. She worked for a total of 40 years and retired at 70 years old.

Josephine was on the Town Council of Sugar City for 2 years. She enjoyed reading, playing dominos and playing cards.

She is survived by her husband Willard of the home; Son Jimmy Adams, of Pensacola, FL; Son Louie Adams, of Idaho; Son Mark Adams, of Sugar City, CO; Daughter Sharon Sultz, of Sugar City, CO; Daughter Charlene Jackson, of Aurora, CO.

She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, son: Bob Adams; sisters: Betty, Mary & Maxine and a brother: Joey.
