Miss Joyce Rose Carter, 18, of Rocky Ford, CO. died on Sunday, November 30th, 2008 as a result of an automobile accident . Joyce was born in Denver, CO on August 15, 1990, the daughter of Samuel Wallace and Donna Rae (Covey) Carter of Rocky Ford.. She graduated from Cheraw High School and was attending Otero Junior College. She worked as a Waitress at the Sonic in Rocky Ford. She is survived by Her parents; brother Lyle Lee Carter of Rocky Ford, Co.; Grandparents Richard husband of Joyce Carter of Denver, Co.; Grandparents Eugene husband of Wynona Bachman of Littleton, Co.; She is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Preceded in death by her Grandmother Alice Bachman Memorial Service will be at the First United Methodist Church, Rocky Ford, CO, at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 4th. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Inurnment will be private at convenience of the Family. A Memorial fund has been established in Joyce's name to the donors choice.
