Joyce Ann Donelson, 65, of Cheraw, CO, passed away Wednesday, April 28th, at her residence.

Joyce was born in Denver, CO on July 2, 1955, a daughter of the late Evelyn (Cruz) and Clarence Carter.

She was the wife of Charles Dean Donelson, they were married on December 31, 2000 at the Rocky Ford ELKS Lodge #1147.

Joyce worked with Avon, Mary Kay and owned/operated the Clowns of Joy, which entailed dressing up like a clown, making cakes, delivering balloons and coordinating birthday parties.

She also enjoyed taking her boat out, camping, collecting cows and going dancing. But her favorite pastime was family gatherings and time spent with family and especially the grandkids.

She is survived by: Husband Charlie of the home Son Steve Westphal, of Cheraw, CO; Son Josh, husband of Kim Westphal, of Denver, CO; Daughter Kim, wife of Allen Rasmuson, of Castle Rock, CO; Daughter Deana Donelson, of La Junta, CO; Daughter Teana, wife of Steve Guerrero Donelson, of La Junta, CO; Daughter Amanda Donelson, of Cheraw, CO; Granddaughter Michelle, wife of Jacob Marlow Donelson, of Las Animas, CO; Sister Pat, wife of Mel Young, of Loveland, CO; Sister Shirley, wife of Ricardo Elizade, of Denver, CO.

She was preceded in death by her parents;

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 15th at First Christian Church in Rocky Ford, CO with Pastor John Dell officiating. Inurnment will be private at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sangre De Cristo Hospice House; 1207 Pueblo Blvd Way Pueblo, CO 81005.
