Juan Carlos Ramos-Romero, 25, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Tuesday, June 12th, unexpectedly, at Ramos Automotive, La Junta.

Juan was born in Urireo, Guanajuato, Mexico on November 4, 1992, a son of Irma (Romero) and Carmen Ramos.

Juan graduated from Rocky Ford High School in 2011 and from Otero Junior College in 2012 with an Associates Degree in Applied Science with a Major in Automotive Technology.

He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church Rocky Ford.

He owned/operated and worked as a Technician at Ramos Automotive, La Junta, CO where he recently purchased the former R & J Auto in January of this year. He had also worked as an ASE Master Technician at Tri-County Automobile Company in La Junta.

Juan is survived by:

Parents; Irma and Carmen Ramos;

Wife Rosa Holguin of the home;

a son, Roman Salud Ramos, of Rocky Ford, CO;

two brothers, Luis Ramos, of La Junta, CO; Rueben Ramos, of Rocky Ford, CO;

He is also survived by many other members of the Ramos family.

He was preceded in death by his brother: Jesus Ramos; grandparents: Salud Ramos & Guadalupe Romero.

A Rosary Service will be held 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 AM on Saturday, June 16th both at the St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO with Fr. Paul Ekeh officiating. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery Rocky Ford, CO In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to To help defray final expenses they can be sent to Ford-Ustick Funeral Home; 305 N. 8th in Rocky Ford, CO 81067.
