Justin David Martinez

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Justin David Martinez, who passed away on June 30, 2026, at the age of 38.

Justin was the beloved son of David Martinez and Loretta (Lori) Martinez of Thornton. He is survived by his sister, Mariah Curnow and her husband, Jake Curnow, of Thornton, and by his cherished nephew, Caleb Curnow. He is also survived by his grandmother, Fedelina Barlow of Thornton, and his step-grandmother, Ruby Aragon of Rocky Ford.

Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dan Martinez, Angie Martinez, and Philip Aragon; his uncle, Kenny Aragon; and his cousin, Lawrence Perez.

He also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and countless friends who will miss him deeply.

Justin was a devoted Denver Broncos and Denver Nuggets fan. He was charismatic, fun-loving, and a true free spirit. His infectious smile could light up any room, and his laughter and kind heart brought joy to everyone who knew him. Justin had a way of making people feel welcome, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

Though his life was far too short, the love he shared and the memories he created will never be forgotten. Forever in our hearts. Forever loved.
