Larry Thomas Mason

Larry Thomas Mason, 72, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away at 10:14 AM, Thursday, October 6th, peacefully, at Pioneer Health Care Center. Larry was born in Florence, SC on February 17, 1944, a son of Doris Maxine (Cochran) Mason and the late Albert Eli Mason. He attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Pueblo, CO. Larry graduated from Centennial High School in Pueblo. He worked as grounds keeper for the city Pueblo. Larry enjoyed camping, fishing, camp fires, watching old time movies, reading the Bible, loved to walk everywhere and love the Broncos. He is survived by His mother Doris Mason of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Sheryl, wife of Andrea Nickerson, of Pueblo, CO; Brother Jerry Mason, of Denver, CO; Sister Brenda Lieurance, of Rocky Ford, CO; Brother Marvin, husband of Laurie Mason, of Rocky Ford, CO; Grandson Riley Nickerson, of Pueblo, CO. He was preceded in by his father; Albert Mason. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 14th at Imperial Memorial Gardens; 5450 Hwy. 78 West, Pueblo, CO. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Inurnment will be in the Imperial Memorial Gardens Pueblo, CO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Arkansas Valley Hospice 531 Lewis, La Junta, CO 81050. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home.
