Laura Jane Brack

Laura Jane Brack, 69, of Plainfield, IN, passed away on Monday, October 3rd, 2016 peacefully, at Greenwood Village South, Greenwood, IN. Laura was born in Rocky Ford, CO on May 8, 1947, a daughter of the late Helen (Yarnell) and Robert William Dawley. Laura was a dedicated homemaker, mother, grandmother and friend. She attended school and graduated from Rocky Ford High School. After graduation she moved to Denver where she met and married her husband Ronald Brack. Soon after the wedding they moved to Japan where Ronald was being stationed. Ron was transferred back to Peterson Field in Colorado Springs, where they lived for several years. They eventually retired and moved to Indiana to be closer to his family. She is survived by: Son Richard Brack, of Costa Mesa, CA; Son Nathan, husband of Laura Brack; Sister Norma Cannon, of La Junta, CO. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren: Nicholas, Trent & Atticus Brack. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband: Ronald earlier this spring. Graveside Services will be at 8:30 AM on Tuesday, October 11th at Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO with Pastor Marty Lee officiating. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO. Local arrangements have been entrusted to Ford-Ustick Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to www.fordustick.com.
