LeAnn Grasmick

February 17, 1947 - December 29, 2017

LeAnn (Williamson) Grasmick, 70, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Friday, December 29th, peacefully, at her residence in the company of her husband, David.

LeAnn was born in Sheridan, WY on February 17, 1947, a daughter of the late Dorothy (Crafton) and William E. Williamson. Prior to moving to Rocky Ford in 1963, she lived in Fort Collins and then Castle Rock, CO with her parents.

She fought a valiant battle of recovery after being injured in an automobile accident while she was in high school at the age of 17 and approximately 9 years ago when she had a brain bleed. She never lost faith in her Lord and did her best to stay strong and self-sufficient.

On June 17, 1968 in La Junta, CO she married David Grasmick. They lived in Fort Collins, while he attended Colorado State University. They also lived in Thornton, CO, Tucson, Yuma and Phoenix, AZ before moving back to Rocky Ford in 1997 after her husband's retirement.

She graduated from Rocky Ford High School in 1965.

She is survived by her husband, David of the home;

Sister-in-Law Geraldine, wife of Clyde Dell;

Sister-in-Law Janice, wife of Dave Crosson;

Sister-in-Law Sharon Grasmick;

Brother-in-Law Don Grasmick;

She is also survived by Numerous Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and Friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, parents-in-law: George and Vivian Grasmick; brother-in-law: Ron Grasmick; sister-in-law: Judy Grasmick.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, January 5th at the First Christian Church in Rocky Ford, CO with Pastor John Dell officiating.
