Mr. Leo Nocar Olguin, 80, of Rocky Ford died Monday, August 25th, 2008 at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center, La Junta, CO. Leo was born in Mora, NM. on August 17, 1928, the son of the late Juan and Helen (Herrera) Olguin. He was the widower of Sarah (Sandoval) Olguin. Married on May 5, 1956. She preceded him in death on October 22, 1993. He worked as a Laborer He is survived by: Daughter Jenny Sanchez of Rocky Ford, CO.; Daughter Nora Olguin of Rocky Ford, CO.; Daughter Estella Olguin of Rocky Ford, CO.; Son Ernest Olguin of Denver, Co.; Son Lawrence Herrera of Salt Lake City UT.; Son Toby Olguin of La Junta CO.; Son Bennie Olguin of Rocky Ford, CO.; Son Charlie Olguin of Rocky Ford, Co.; Son Eddie Olguin of Rocky Ford, Co.. Preceded in death by 2 daughters: Romona Olguin and Dorothy Olguin; a son: Richard Olguin. 2 sisters: Casilda "Cathy" Marquez and Mary Lopez and a brother: Elgy Olguin Memorial Services will be celebrated at St. Peters Catholic Church, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 29th, with Fr. Mario Murillo officiating. A Rosary Service will be recited at 9:30 AM Friday at St. Peters Catholic Church. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected.
