Mrs. Linda Carol Grant, 63, of Rocky Ford died on Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010 at her residence. Linda was born in LaJunta, CO on July 9, 1946, the daughter of the late Ryley Judson Thomas and Zella (Ulery) Wilder. She was married to Michael Terry he preceded her in death. She then married Gary Grant he preceded her in death. She retired as a Cashier at Wal-Mart in La Junta, CO. She also worked for Gibson's and McClains and was a hairdresser for many years. She attended Valley Cowboy Church. She is survived by Her mother Zella of Rocky Ford; Daughter Shannon wife of Matt Gronemeyer of Cheraw, CO; Son James David husband of Trudy Rider of Greeley, CO; Sister Lois Jackson of Swink, CO; Brother Ryley husband of Peggy Thomas, Jr. of Rocky Ford, CO; Brother John husband of Jona Thomas of White Deer, TX; Granddaughter Regina Wood of LaJunta, CO; Granddaughter Chelsie Shoop girlfriend of Nick of Las Cruces, NM; Granddaughter Jordan Gronemeyer of Cheraw, CO; Granddaughter Damienne Gronemeyer of Cheraw, CO; Granddaughter Jaedyn Gronemeyer of Cheraw, CO; Grandson Riley Gronemeyer of Cheraw, CO; Grandson Nigel Gronemeyer of Cheraw, CO; Great-Granddaughter Cierah Wood of LaJunta, CO; Great-Granddaughter Amiah Serface of LaJunta, CO. She was preceded in death by a son: John Judson Rider; 2 sisters: Lowine Salzbrenner & Shirley Crocker; 2 husbands: Michael Terry & Gary Grant. Memorial Service will be at the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home, Rocky Ford, at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 9th, with Pastor John Dell officiating. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Inurnment will be private at a later time. Family request donations to help defray final expenses. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ford-Ustick Funeral Home.
