Linda Kay Lindt of Ordway passed away peacefully at Parkview Hospital on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at the age of 79. Linda was born in Las Animas to John and Mildred Lusk. Linda met the love of her life in 1961, and they were married on December 8, 1963. They spent a wonderful 59 years together. Linda spent her life doing things she loved doing. She was a butcher for many years, she worked with her husband on his trash service for a few years, then she opened her own bakery which she owned for 13 years. Throughout the years she taught her daughters, granddaughters and great granddaughters the art of baking. Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She would love to brag about all of the kids. She was friends to many people. She loved to crochet and go fishing.
Linda was proceeded in death by her husband Richard Lindt. Linda is survived by 4 children: Kathryn Dianne Taylor Ordway, Richard LeRoy Lindt Jr. Sugar City, Sheryl Ann (Devin) Tinsley Ordway and Tammie Jean (Chad) Nichols Ordway. She had 9 grandchildren Michael (Crystal) Lindt, Rusty (Jessica) Lindt, Tammie (Tye) McClain, Trisha (Tim) Wyss, Tanya (Brandon Anderson) Lindt, Christopher Taylor, Joseph (Suede) Lindt, Jordan (Megan) Lindt, Cheyene (Jeremiah Storrer) Nichols. She had 11 great-grandchildren plus 1 on the way Bobbi Jo, Dakoda, Lindy, Raelin, Anthony, Bailey, Hailey, Layla, Hunter, Kylee and Tyler. She had 4 siblings, John Lusk, Jerry Lusk, Dan Lusk and Cathie Anderson.
