Lloyd I. Gallegos, 68, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Saturday, August 15th, at his residence.

Lloyd was born in La Junta, CO on November 7, 1951, a son of the late Angelina (Rivera) and Julian Gallegos.

He was the husband of Helen Gallegos, they were married in 1968.

Lloyd attended the Nazarene Church in Rocky Ford and enjoyed working, fishing, hunting, dancing and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Helen of the home; Daughter Patricia (Ramon) Rosales, of Spearman, TX; Son Lonny (Sarah) Gallegos, of Aurora, CO; Son Michael Gallegos, of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Patty Trujillo, of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Joyce Camacho, of Pueblo, CO; Sister Cathy Gallegos, of Garden City, KS; Brother Junior Gallegos, of Rocky Ford, CO; Brother Ralph (Lupe) Gallegos, of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Carol Gallegos, of Pueblo, CO.

He is also survived by 7 Grandchildren: JJ (Blanca) Gallegos of North Dakota, Jessica (Joel) Moralez of North Dakota, Justine Sumner of Spearman, TX, Ayana (Jeremy) Rowlan of Spearman, TX, Bryden Gallegos of Colorado Springs, CO, Gavin Gallegos of Aurora, CO, Bryson Gallegos of Aurora, CO. 9 Great-Grandchildren: Jaden, Jhett and Kye Sumner, Zalea and Rameses Moralez, Lilah and Julian Gallegos, Electra and Jax Rowlan.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers: Richard and Teddy Gallegos.

A Viewing will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Wednesday, August 19th at Ford - Ustick Funeral Home in Rocky Ford, CO. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday, August 20th at Nazarene Church in Rocky Ford, CO with Pastor Paul Ferrell officiating. Interment will be in Valley View Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
