Lola Dell Coffee, 89, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Sunday, July 6th, suddenly, at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center, La Junta. Lola was born in Hugo, CO on August 19, 1924, a daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth (Jones) and Peter John Paugh. She attended school in the Manzanola area. Lola was the widow of George LaVern Coffee. On 06/25/1941, they were married at Raton, NM. He preceded her in death on January 1, 1998. She worked as a Cook at Manzanola School System Manzanola and was a member of Church of Christ in Rocky Ford, CO. Lola always enjoyed being with her family and friends. She loved working in the yard, cooking and the Denver Broncos. She is survived by; Daughter Marian, wife of Darrell Nichols, of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Lavern Dean, husband of Janita Coffee, of Manzanola, CO; Brother John, husband of Jody Paugh, of Security, CO; Granddaughter Laura, wife of Shannon Durr, of Harrisville, MS; Grandson Nicholas Coffee, of Manzanola, CO; Grandson Damon, husband of Celeste Nichols, of Denver, CO; Grandson Lex, husband of Jennifer Nichols, of Rocky Ford, CO. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. Lola was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 5 brothers & 3 sisters. Funeral Services will be at the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 11th, with Pastor John Dell officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 8:30 until service time at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Manzanola Cemetery Manzanola, CO.
