Lucy Mary Vigil, 79, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Sunday, December 8th, at her home.

Lucy was born in Watros, NM on June 25, 1940, a daughter of the late Beatrice (Sena) and Filadelfio Roybal.

She was the wife of Benny Joe Vigil, they were married on August 8, 1955 in Rocky Ford.

She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO.

She worked as a CNA.

She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and her two chihuahua's, Precious and Buffy. She also loved to listen to mariachi music.

Lucy was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Benny; daughter: Ruby Jaramillo; grandchildren: Curtis Vigil & Danny Vigil; sister: MaryAnn Monaghan;

A Rosary will be recited on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 10:30 AM with the Memorial Mass to follow at 11:00 AM both at St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO with Fr. Paul Ekeh officiating. Inurnment of the cremains will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Rocky Ford, CO.
