Lydia Archuleta, 67, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Tuesday, August 27th, at her residence.

Lydia was born in Rocky Ford, CO on April 12, 1952, a daughter of the late Susan (Bueno) and Baltgar Minjarez.

She graduated from Crowley County High School.

Lydia married Anthony Archuleta in 1972 in Rocky Ford.

She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church, Rocky Ford, CO.

Lydia was a family person and she adored her grandchildren. She was very happy when they were around and she enjoyed helping them learn how to read, write and count. She was passionate about her job as a teacher's aide. When her grandchildren were born she quit that job to help take care of them. She was an avid Denver Broncos fan and cheered them on faithfully whether they were winning or losing. Lydia was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and was deeply loved by her family and fiends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband Anthony of the home; Daughter Nadine (Jorge) Mendoza, of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Anthony Archuleta, Jr., of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Aliana Archuleta, of Rocky Ford, CO; Brother Baltzar Minjarez, of Fremont, CA; Sister Lorraine Lopez, of Rocky Ford, CO; Grandson Elijah Archuleta, of Rocky Ford, CO; Granddaughter Anastasia Archuleta, of Rocky Ford, CO; Grandson Zachary Teneff, of Rocky Ford, CO; Granddaughter Marisa Archuleta, of Rocky Ford, CO; Niece Schyla Lopez of Rocky Ford, CO; Nephew Christopher Lopez of Rocky Ford, CO; Great-Nephew Alyas Lopez - Barela of Rocky Ford, CO; many other Nieces and Nephews.

Lydia was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Sena Rodriguez, Mary Armijo, brothers: Rudy Minjarez, Ricky Minjarez, Tony Minjarez; great-niece: Azyza Chavez.

Services are pending and inurnment of her cremains will be private at a later time.
