Mrs. Marcia Lee Muniz, 56, of Rocky Ford died Monday, December 22nd, 2008 suddenly at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center, La Junta, CO. Marcia was born in Grand Junction, CO on November 19, 1952, the daughter of the late Louis and Dora (unknown) Sandoval. She graduated from Alamosa High School and Otero Junior College with a RN Degree She was the wife of Ben Muniz. They were married on March 27, 1971 in Alamosa She was a Registered Nurse at Colorado Department of Corrections She is survived by her husband , and children; Daughter Maria Muniz wife of Tim Klob of La Junta, CO; Daughter Felicia Muniz wife of Darin Adelman of Gulf Port, MS; Son Jonathan husband of Loretta Muniz of San Antonio, TX; Son Miguel husband of Santana Muniz of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Debra wife of Cliff Hart of American Fall, ID; Brother Louis Sandoval Brother Steve Sandoval of Alamosa, CO; Brother Benjamin Sandoval of Albuquerquen NM. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren Memorial Service at St. Peters Catholic Church, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 30th, with Fr. Don Malin officiating. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Vigil Service will be at 9:00 AM Tuesday at St. Peters Catholic Church. Inurnment will be private at a later date.
