Margaret June Blakley, daughter of the late Reverend David Ramey and Leverna Ramey was born February 11, 1927 in Fairplay, Colorado in a log house near her Father's Church. She grew up on a family farm in Crowley that is still crop shared with water rights today, attended Crowley High School, and received her diploma in 1945, as president of her class. She graduated from University of Colorado, Boulder, in 1949 as a medical technologist.

She married Robert Blakley (deceased) in March 1949. Their union resulted in 7 children, 13 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her brother David Ramey, sister Virginia Ramey, and son Byron Blakley.

Margaret passed away on April 4, 2023 at Brookdale Living Center.
