Maria Jessica Garcia, 67, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Monday, July 19th, at Crowley County Nursing Center; Ordway.

Maria was born in Las Vegas, NM on November 28, 1953, a daughter of the late Dora Maria (Lucero) and Jose Abren Tenorio.

She was the wife of Bonifacio Ernest Garcia. they were married on May 12, 1976..

She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO.

Maria liked exercising, riding her bike and swimming. She was a good woman, wife, mother, grandmother and Auntie. She will be missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by: Husband Danny of the home; Son Carlos Garcia, of Pueblo, CO; Son Joey, husband of Laura Garcia, of Las Animas, CO; Daughter Lilliana Garcia, of Rocky Ford, CO; Brother Jose, husband of Jennifer Tenorio, Jr., of Rocky Ford, CO; Brother Lito Tenorio, of La Junta, CO; Sister Janice, wife of Larry Rodriguez, of Aurora, CO.

She is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Carlos, Jr., Kierra, Teyla, Aleczaven, Daniel, Matthew, Adrianna, Sierra, Diego; 2 great-grandchildren: Averi & Esmay.

A Rosary Service will be held 9:30 AM with A Memorial Mass to follow at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 31st at St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO. Inurnment will be private at a later time.
