Mrs. Maria Lorencita (Lorraine) Trujillo, 73, of Fowler passed away on Wednesday, February 8th, 2012 at Pueblo Care & Rehabilitation Services, Pueblo, CO. Maria was born in Aguilar, CO on August 10, 1938, the daughter of the late Thomas and Ofelia Stephanie (Aragon) Romero. She attended schools in the Aguilar, CO area. She was the widow of Rosanaldo Trujillo. They were married on Nov. 22, 1960 in Pueblo, CO. He preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 2011. Maria previously worked for Jensen's Meat Packing & Divens Tomato Factory. She is survived by: Daughter Julie Lopez of Pueblo, CO; Daughter Susan wife of Brian Oliver of Colorado Springs, CO; Daughter Nancy wife of Mike Espinoza of La Jara, CO; Brother Joe Romero of Washington; Sister Sarah Sutherland of San Jose, CA; Sister Rosella wife of Bob Trueblood of Sterling, CO; Sister Cecelia wife of Ray Vaught of Colorado Springs, CO. They raised two grandchildren: Elysia and her husband Aaron Smith & James Trujillo; she is also survived by 8 other grandchildren: Michael Espinoza, Joseph Lopez, Timothy Lopez, Joshua Lopez, Rocky Espinoza, Tabatha Milliam, Monica Espinoza & Matthew Oliver. Great-grandchildren: Jacob Smith, Justin Smith, Nathan Smith, Isabella Lopez, Elaine Trujillo, Lenaeya Trujillo, Michael Espinoza, Jr. & Malia Milliam. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rosanaldo; 2 sisters: Flora Romero & Veronica Padilla; 2 brothers: Richard Romero & Lee Romero. Memorial Service will be private per her request. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Inurnment will be private in the Fowler Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home.
