Mary L. Clark, 74, of Rocky Ford, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the Memorial Health Center in Colorado Springs.

Mary was born on October 7, 1946 to Elva May Sumey. She grew up in various areas of Colorado where she also received her education. Mary worked in electronics, home healthcare and restaurants.

Mary was a Christian who attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Swink and served as Deaconess. She enjoyed making ceramics, sewing, crocheting, and puzzles.

She is survived by her daughter Barbara Jane (Jack) Swalley of Henderson, NV; son, Steven Sean Bruning of Oakland, CA; son Russell Dean Bruning of Oakland, CA; daughter Robin Colleen (Chad) O'Connell of Gilbert, AZ; mother, Elva May Sumey of Sugar City, CO; brother, Ross (Trieu) Massey of Carmichael, CA; sister, Debra Rigdon of Sugar City, CO; brother, Jeff Sumey of Cutbank, MT; and special friend, Albert Tafoya of Rocky Ford, CO. She is also survived by five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, John Massey; and a granddaughter, Devon Colleen Shetler.

Visitation will be held 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Thursday at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home in Rocky Ford. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 29th at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home in Rocky Ford with Pastor Ted Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford.
