Mrs. Mary Josephine (Josie) Jaramillo, 89, of Rocky Ford passed away on Sunday, May 20th, 2012 while in the company of family members at her residence. Mary was born in Kim, CO on May 9, 1923, the daughter of the late Elfedo and Arellia (Sanchez) Sandoval. She was the widow of Emilio Jaramillo, they were married in June of 1952 and he preceded her in death on June 6, 1996. She was a Homemaker She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church Rocky Ford, CO 81067. She is survived by: Son Alfonso husband of Rose Jaramillo of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Merlinda Jaramillo of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Nick husband of Grace Jaramillo of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Larry Jaramillo of Pueblo, CO; Son Felix husband of Teresa Jaramillo of Newport Richie, FL; Son Raymond Jaramillo of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Lee husband of Kathy Jaramillo of La Junta, CO; Son Jake Jaramillo of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Frank Jaramillo of Rocky Ford, CO. She is also survived by Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents; husband, 2 sons: Emilio Jaramillo, Jr. & Alex Jaramillo; daughter: Eddie Jaramillo; 4 sisters and a brother. A Rosary Service will be recited at 9:30 AM Thursday with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated all at the St. Peters Catholic Church, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 24th, with Fr. Paul Ekeh officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday 9 AM until service time at St. Peters Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery Rocky Ford, CO.
