Maryann Virginia Cordova of Rocky Ford passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023 in Colorado Springs at the age of 71. Virgina was born to Elias and Erma Jaramillo. She grew up in Rocky Ford graduating from Rocky Ford High School. She met and married Robert Cordova and they made their home in Rocky Ford, where they raised their 2 sons. Virginia's 3 granddaughters were her life. She loved being with them and they loved their Naanaa.

Virginia is survived by her husband of 48 years Robert Cordova, 1 son: Robert Cordova, Jr., grandchildren: Jasmine, Mestique, Kazmier, plus 4 other grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren: siblings: Manuel (Rosie) Jaramillo of Haxton, Tomas Jaramillo of Denver, Steve Jaramillo of Rocky Ford, Sylvia Jaramillo of Rocky Ford, Gloria Jaramillo of Syracuse, KS, Margaret Gutierrez of Kerrville, TX, Edna Lopez of Pueblo, sister-in-law Debra Jaramillo of Rocky Ford, brother-in-law Steve Estrada. She was preceded in death by her son: Desi Jaramillo, her parents: Elias and Erma Jaramillo, 2 brothers: John & Roger Jaramillo, and her sister Sandra Estrada.
