Rocky Ford, CO Melba Florence Hamm Melba Florence Hamm, 74, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Wednesday, February 15th, at Parkview Medical Center, Pueblo, CO.. Melba was born in Sikeston, MO on October 15, 1942, a daughter of the late Getta L. (Coleman) and James A. Qualls. She was the wife of James Hamm. She attended the First United Methodist Church in Rocky Ford, CO. She is survived by her husband James Hamm of Rocky Ford, CO; Son James Graham, of Hesperus, CO; Sister Frances Brashear of Sikeston, MO. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren Melba was preceded in death by her parents; 9 brothers and sisters. A Memorial Service will be at on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Rocky Ford Church of the Nazarene. There will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association; 2315 Bott Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80904-3727.
