Mercedes Salamanca, 85, of Pueblo, CO, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, September 14th.

Mercedes was born in La Junta, CO on August 10, 1936, to the late Leonicia Baca Venegas and Remondo Romero.

She is survived by: Sisters, Rita P. Carrillo of Denver, CO and Cora & Manuel Sigala of La Junta, CO. Brother, Leonard & Linda Venegas of Rocky Ford, CO. Brother-in-law, Richard Aguilar of Colorado Springs, CO and sister-in-law Terry Venegas of Hartman, CO. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Leo Baca, Albert Romero, Billy Venegas, Charlie Venegas and sisters, Mary Ramirez and Gloria Aguilar.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
