Mike Heether, 73, of Ordway passed away August 19, 2023 at his home. He served in the Army for 8 years. While he was in the Army, he was stationed in Colorado for a while. After the Army, Mike owned his own monument company, Rice Memorial, in Ohio. He moved back to Colorado in 1991. He really enjoyed doing yardwork. He was a lifetime member of the VFW in Ordway. He will be greatly missed.

Mike is survived by his wife Linda, step-son Preston (Pam) Hamby, son Eric Heether, grandchildren: Aaron (Rainy) Hamby, Katlyn (Isaac) Martinez, Micky (Sydney) Hamby, great-grandchildren: Kingsley Samora, Brayden Martinez, Greyson Martinez, Karsyn Martinez and Zoey Hamby, He was preceded in death by his parents James and Helen Heether, 2 brothers: James Heether and Mark Heether, granddaughter Brieonna Sanders.
