Naomi Inez Patrick

June 1, 1924 - March 28, 2015

Naomi Inez Patrick, 90, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Saturday, March 28th, peacefully, at Crowley County Nursing Center, Ordway, surrounded by her family. Naomi grew up on a farm near Cassville, MO on June 1, 1924, a daughter of the late Thelma (Chappell) and Erskin Henry Beck. She was the widow of Danny Lee Patrick. Naomi had previously been married to Ira J. Bickford, they had 10 children together. Naomi raised most of her children in the Rocky Ford where she was a cook and a waitress and played softball. She loved horses and trained on the track for many years. She traveled extensively across the United States making many friends along the way. She came back to Rocky Ford in 2004 where she lived with her daughter. She was a member of the Southern Baptist faith. She is survived by; Daughter Gwen, wife of Delbert Green, of New Plymouth, ID; Daughter Wanda, wife of Bill McCanless, of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Judy, wife of Mike Carroll, of Pueblo, CO; Daughter Lynda Keilman, of Troy, TX; Son Lyn Bickford, of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Billie, wife of Mike Kussman, of Fruita, CO; Son Rod, husband of Gwen Bickford, of McGragor, TX; Son Ira, husband of Rhonda Bickford, of Brigham City, UT; Sister Wilma Harrison, of Mulberry, AR; Sister Shirley, wife of Ralph Todd, of Bentonville, AR; Brother Glen Lyle Beck husband of Christy of Cassville, MO; She is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 84 great-grandchildren, 45 great-great-grandchildren and numerous other family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, children Rebecca Ann, Rodnel Lee; 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; sisters: Ada Gaddy, Georgie Jonson, Hazel Miller & Norma Loveland, Marie Shelly; brothers: Bennett, Ray & Maurice Beck. There will be no services at this time, per her request. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Inurnment will be private at a later time.
