Nathan Thomas Cole

Mr. Nathan Thomas Cole, 48, of Rocky Ford, died Thursday, November 13, 2008 at his Rocky Ford home. Nathan was born in Denver, CO on April 16, 1960 the son of Joe and Josie (Gradoz) Gallegos. He was a crafted jeweler who also loved his dogs, fishing, and rock and roll music. He loved to write and penned many books and journals. He was a devoted Uncle, a very loving brother and son. He was a big man with a big heart and will be missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by: Parents: Joe and Josie Gallegos of Rocky Ford; brothers: Randy (Carol) Cole of DeForest, WI, James Gallegos of Rocky Ford and Gary (Debbie) Gallegos of Denver; Nieces and Nephews: Krystal Gallegos, Tonya Cole, Brandon Cole, Nikki Cole, Rikki Cole, Michael Herrera, Philip Gallegos, Santino Gallegos, and Jeremy (Alicia) Lyda; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by grandparents: Joe and Liz Gradoz, Mary Gallegos and Eufemio Gallegos. Memorial services will be held at the Valley Community Church at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 with Rev. Kurt England and Rev. Wallace Kurtz officiating. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Inurnment will be held at a later time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ford-Ustick Funeral Home.
