Ophelia Allene Eagen, 83, of Ordway, CO, passed away Wednesday, September 12th, while in the company of family, at her residence.

Allene was born in Fowler, CO on January 5, 1935, a daughter of the late Lona Olliev (Quinn) and J.L. Reeves.

She attended schools in Fowler and Crowley.

Allene was the widow of William Joseph Eagen, they were married on July 16, 1955 and celebrated 62 years.

She attended the River of Life Fellowship in Ordway, CO.

Allene worked at the Dine-A-Mite Cafe in Ordway as a teenager and later at the 3 Bee's and the Towne Shoppe in Rocky Ford and she retired from Ordway Building Supply after 27 years.

Allene was a member of the Budgeteers Mother's Club, Bridge Club, After 5 Club, at the Rocky Ford First Baptist Church Sonshine Club of, served on various church committee's, Sunday School, Kids Klub and VBS. At the River of Life Church she was active with the Bread of Life Ministry and VBS. When her children were young she was active with the Fowler First Baptist Church, as a Youth/Camp Leader, Room Mother at the elementary school.

She is survived by:

Daughter Tracy Eagen, of Ordway, CO;

Brother Richard, husband of Sharon Reeves, of Rye, CO;

Brother David, husband of Ellen Reeves, of Ordway, CO;

Brother Leonard, husband of Jean Reeves, of Ordway, CO;

Brother Quinten Reeves, of Ordway, CO;

Brother Gary, husband of Carol Reeves, of Albuquerque, NM;

Brother Kenneth Reeves, of Pueblo, CO;

Sister Debbie, wife of Richard Oliver, of Ordway, CO.

She is also survived by 2 grandchildren Brandon Eagen of Amarillo, TX and Shana (Daniel) Santistevan of Swink, CO; 6 great-grandchildren Kiya, Kailyn, Kori Eagen, Kiarrah, Brilla, and Jackson Santistevan and her beloved dog, Little Bit.

Allene was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Joe Eagen in 2017; son: Stephen Joseph Eagen in 1976; brothers: Jack and Daren Reeves.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, September 16th at River of Life Fellowship in Ordway, CO with Pastor Jeb Brown officiating. Inurnment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery at 1:00 PM in Rocky Ford, CO.
