Pauline Moralez, 89, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Thursday, October 10th, at her residence.

Pauline was born in Manzanola, CO on June 7, 1930, a daughter of the late Sarah (Saleh) and Jesus Vasquez.

She was the widow of Joe Chapparo Moralez, they were married on January 5, 1952 in Vroman, CO.

She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO.

She had also worked in food service and as a bagger at the onion graters.

She enjoyed watching Spanish soap operas, cooking, cleaning, visiting family and friends, especially spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by: Daughter Connie (James) Hays, of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Mary Shiranlou, of Rocky Ford, CO; Brother Jerry Vasquez, of Columbus, OH; Sister Louise (Rudy) Gonzales, of Denver, CO; Sister Mackie Albo, of Pueblo, CO; Sister Connie Chavez, of Denver, CO; Sister Patsy (Joe) Turella, of San Antonio, TX; Grandson Joseph (Cindy) Montoya, of Rocky Ford, CO; Granddaughter Angelique Montoya, of Manzanola, CO; Granddaughter Melissa (Jeremy) Horn, of Manzanola, CO; Granddaughter Violet Montoya, of Rocky Ford, CO; Granddaughter Soraya Shiranlou, of Rocky Ford, CO; Grandson Shane Bielawski, of Rocky Ford, CO; Grandson Christopher Montoya, of Rocky Ford, CO.

She is also survived by 16 great - grandchildren; 5 great - great grandchildren

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Joe in 2010; brothers: Vlas Vasquez, Jesus Vazquez, George Vasquez; sisters: Macaria Vasquez, Carmen Santistevan; nephews: George Vasquez, Seferino "Lolly" Tabares, Vincent Turella.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 17th at Ford - Ustick Funeral Home in Rocky Ford, CO. Rosary Service will be held at 10:30 AM with A Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 18th both at the St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO with Fr. Paul Ekeh officiating. Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO.
