Pedro Rodriguez Cordova

Pedro Rodriguez Cordova, 64, of Rocky Ford, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026 in Colorado Springs, surrounded by loved ones. He was born January 18,1962, to Isidro Rodriguez in Esperanza Cordova in Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua, Mexico. He moved to Rocky Ford in the late 1980s. Pedro worked many years at Hirakata Farms where the Hirakata's became his second family. Pedro was a hard worker and always helped his family and friends. Pedro loved to play pool, gamble in Cripple Creek and play cards and dominoes with his family and friends.

Pedro is survived by his very special friend, Rosario Maestas, his children Brenda Rodriguez, Andrea (Johnny) Gonzales, Joseph (Nicole) Apodaca, Benny(Kim) Del Villar; grandchildren, Azul (Rodigo) Olivas Rodiguez, Paola Olivas Rodiguez, Eydan Olivas Rodiguez, Elias Del Villar, Jennie Del Villar, Nakai Gonzales, Nayah Carrigan, Nevyn Apodaca, Luciano Del Villar, Isabella Del Villar and numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Javier Cordova, Fernando Cordova, Mario Cordova, Jaime Cordova and sisters, Lupita Rodriguez Cordova, Lourdes Enriquez Cordova, Rosario Enriquez Cordova, Concha Cordova and numerous nieces and nephews. Pedro is preceded in death by his parents, wife Martina Rodriguez and sisters, Estela Cordova and Alma Rodriguez Cordova.
