Mr. Peter Paul Martinez, 63, of Rocky Ford died on Sunday, July 5th, 2009 while in the company of family members at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center-Nursing Center East, La Junta, CO. Peter was born in Alamosa, Co. on February 25, 1946, the son of the late Gabriel Henry and Rebecca (Martinez) Martinez. He attended schools in the Rocky Ford area. He was a self-employed furniture mover. He is survived by: Daughter Terry wife of Kris Belcher of Colorado Springs, Co.; Daughter November wife of Monte James of Commerce City, Co.; Daughter Brenda wife of Horacio Ramirez of Torrance, Cali.; Son Thomas Gabriel of Colorado Springs, Co.; Sister Helen Tafoya Sister Merlinda Juarez Sister Rebecca Gallo Sister Esther Hatch Sister Rose Diaz Sister Connie Zumbo Brother Nick Martinez Brother Frank Martinez He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren He was preceed in death by his parents, a son Aaron Martinez, 5 Brothers Don, Alex, Bino, Tommy, and John Martinez, along with 3 Sisters: Cassilda Casey Johnson, Nora Martinez, and Maria Nora Castro, Graveside Services will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:30 A. M. on Friday, July 10th, with Mike Cellanti officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 8:30-10:00 A.M. at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery Rocky Ford, CO.
