Obituary

Precilla Encinias, 83, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Friday, January 24th, while in the company of family, at her residence.

Precilla was born in Emplacado, NM on November 24, 1936, a daughter of the late Guadalupe (Sandoval) and Regino Jaramillo.

She was the widow of Emilio Augustine Encinias, they were married on Jan. 4, 1951 in Rocky Ford. He preceded her in death.

She attended the St. Peters Catholic Church, Rocky Ford, CO.

Precilla was lucky to find the love of her life at an early age when she married Emilio Encinias. Together they celebrated a loving and wonderful marriage of 45 years, that brought them eight children.  She enjoyed going to church and teaching her children about their Catholic faith. Precilla's family will always remember her love for them, she would always greet them with a hug and a kiss.Â

She is survived by: Daughter Hope (Fidel) Vasquez, of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Theresa Encinias, of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Dora (Manuel) Vasquez, of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Rebecca Encinias, of Rocky Ford, CO; Son-in-Law Danny Bustos, of Farmington, NM; Brother Gene (Della) Jaramillo, of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Josephine (Chris) Cordova, of Ulysses, KS; Brother-in-Law George (Margaret) Encinias, of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister-in-Law Sandra Perez, of Liberal, KS; Sister-in-Law TV Lucano, of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister-in-Law Maria Jaramillo, of Ordway, CO; Grandchildren: Ralph (Nichole) Vasquez, Romolo Vasquez, Ronda Vasquez, Angelia Vasquez, Gilbert Vasquez, Noe Vasquez and Lolo Vasquez, Timmy (Nancy) Encinias, Kenny Tenorio, Victor (Anna) Bustos, Shon Bustos, Ricky Encinias, Cecelia (Claro) Galindo, Monica (John) Vail and John Lopez; Great - Grandchildren: Makayla and Emilio Maes, Roman Vasquez, Jacob Vasquez and Gabby Vasquez, Leonard, John and Layla (Christian) Lopez, Sammy and Jamie Tenorio and Austin Encinias.

She was preceded in death by her best friend and companion for 8 years, Teddie, her beloved dog; Son: Richard Encinias; Daughters: Cecelia Encinias, Elva Tenorio and Viola Bustos; Sons - in - Law: Dickie Tenorio and Ben Gonzales; Brothers: Raymond, David, Emilio (Josie) and Elias (Erma) Jaramillo; Sister: Angie (Louis) Marquez; In - Laws: Antonio and Maria Encinias; Grandchildren: Anna Lopez and Fabian Bustos.

Public Viewing will be held 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 28th at Ford - Ustick Funeral Home in Rocky Ford, CO. A Rosary Service will be held 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 29th, with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 AM both at the St. Peter's Catholic Church, Rocky Ford. Interment will follow in the Valley View Cemetery, Rocky Ford, CO.
