Mrs. Rachel Ann Marie Ramos, 48, of Rocky Ford died on Friday, May 20th, 2011 at her residence. Rachel was born in Rocky Ford, CO on March 7, 1963, the daughter of Marie Cornelia (Lopez) Lopez. She attended schools in Rocky Ford and attended college at OJC. She worked as a CNA at various places. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO. She enjoyed playing softball for Tillie's Brat's and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Arianna and her friends. She is survived by her mother: Marie of Las Animas, CO; Daughter Kristine Harris (Jason Abney) of Pueblo, CO; Brother Ernisto Lopez of Las Animas, CO; Sister Linda wife of Michael Nicholl of Las Animas, CO; Brother Johnny husband of Medori Lopez of Las Animas, CO; Brother Louis husband of Angie Lopez of Paonia, CO; Sister Lori Garza of Las Animas, CO; Granddaughter Arianna Harris of Pueblo, CO; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and other family members. A Memorial Mass will be at the St. Peters Catholic Church, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, May 31st, with Fr. Don Malin officiating.
