Randy Dolan Grooms was born in Denver, May 5th, 1949. Randy bought joy into the lives of his parents, Hubert and Esther Grooms of Rocky Ford. Randy passed away on November 3rd, 2024 at the Prairie View Assisted Living in Las Animas at the age of 75.

Randy loved to laugh! He loved the outdoors and enjoyed woodworking. He lived a lot of different places while on this earth, but Rocky Ford was his home. Randy graduated Rocky Ford High School in 1968. Randy had a tragic accident that left him with a stroke and a brain injury that resulted in numerous problems. With his intense determination, Randy lived a long life with his disabilities.

Randy is proceeded in death by his parent Hubert C Grooms, Esther L Grooms, his paternal and maternal grandparents and previous wives; Karen Ratliff and Mary Nelson. Randy is survived by Aunts and Uncles, and numerous cousins. Randy was so fortunate to have many loyal long time friends that helped him over the years.
