Raymond Earl (Ray) Robinson, 71, of Olney Springs, CO, passed away Wednesday, August 29th, unexpectedly at his residence.
Raymond was born in Opelika, AL on July 30, 1947, a son of the late Wanda Lee (Stanley) Niewish-Robinson and John Fuller Robinson.
He graduated from Lanett High School and from Delta College in Stockton, CA with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.
Ray was the husband of Donna Jean (Crawford) Robinson, they were married on Nov. 12, 1967 in Reno, NV.
He served in the U.S. Navy as a E-3 in the Vietnam War serving on the USS Kitty Hawk CVA - 63.
He retired as a Professor at Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood, WA retiring in 2014.
He was a member of the ELKS Lodge # 837 in Del Rio, TX and was Mayor Pro Tem of Olney Springs, CO.
He is survived by his wife Donna Jean of the home;
Son Steven Robinson, of Rocky Ford, CO;
Son Tim (Carol) Robinson, of Puyallup, WA;
Brother Stanley (Diane) Robinson, of Hugley, AL;
Brother Mark (Robin) Robinson, of GA.
He is also survived by 1 grandson: Greg (Autumn) Robinson; 3 granddaughters: Korrie Robinson, Devin Foster & Kelvi Robinson; 3 great-grandchildren: Adri, Gunner & Bryce.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents.
Per his request there will be no services. Inurnment will be private at a later time.
